Logos Bible Software in Windows 7
Logos Bible Software, Technology, Windows Jan 23, 2009
Finally, after fiddling around with Windows 7 setting, I found out the problem with getting Logos Bible Software to work under Windows 7. Is the user permission, apparently one of the components required during the installation requiring more than administrator rights? Even if I choose to run the installation file as an administrator, it doesn’t allow me to install it. So the only way of getting it to work is by turning off the UAC (User Account Control).
To install Libronix 3.0e correctly, the UAC need to be turned off completely. So first, open Action Center, click the down tab on Security and find the UAC setting. Next, drag the setting Never to Notify.
Finally, I can resume my Bible study with the help of Logos!!!

I was real worried I’d have to resort to installing Vista again. Also, I had to disable the ‘CEIP’ ( Customer Experience Improvement Program ) client by running the Command Prompt as an administrator, and then executing:reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f

It says it read them in fine but I show "There are 0 unlocks" in the Account Summary. (Yes I did restart).Did you have a problem with restoring unlock codes?I am thinking I may have to run this in XPMode. I had it working in XP.
